1.4. The contract for the cleaning service is between you and the Cleaner, while Evergleam Cleaning provides customer support, scheduling, and payment processing.

3. Scope of Services

3.2. Cleaners are independent, self-employed workers responsible for carrying out the cleaning service.3.3. We do not employ Cleaners and are not liable for their actions beyond what is required by UK law.3.4. Service descriptions on our website are provided for guidance and may vary depending on property condition.
4. Bookings
4.1. All bookings must be made through our website or official communication channels.
4.2. You must provide accurate details about your property, including size, condition, parking, and access instructions.
4.3. Incorrect or incomplete information may result in additional charges or cancellation.
4.4. Bookings are confirmed only after you receive a confirmation email.
5. Payments
5.1. All payments are processed securely through our platform.
5.2. Payment must be made before or immediately after the service, depending on the booking type.
5.3. We reserve the right to charge additional fees for:
Extra tasks not included in the original booking
Excessive dirt, waste, or hoarding conditions
Cleaning that requires additional time beyond the estimate
5.4. Prices listed on the website may change at any time, but confirmed booking prices will not change.
6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
6.1. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the appointment are free of charge.
6.2. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a 50% fee.
6.3. If a cleaner arrives and cannot gain access, the full service fee may be charged.
6.4. Rescheduling within 24 hours is subject to availability and may incur a fee.
7. Customer Responsibilities
7.1. You must provide safe and reasonable working conditions for Cleaners.
7.2. You must ensure:
Access to the property
Availability of water and electricity
Clear instructions about alarms, locks, or building entry
7.3. Valuables should be stored securely.
7.4. The Cleaner is not responsible for moving heavy furniture unless mutually agreed.
8. Quality Guarantee
8.1. If you are unhappy with any part of your clean, you must notify us within 24 hours.
8.2. We may offer a free reclean of the missed areas, subject to availability.
8.3. Refunds are not guaranteed and are assessed case-by-case.
9. Liability
9.1. As permitted by UK law, Evergleam Cleaning is not liable for:
Loss of profits, business, or revenue
Indirect or consequential loss
Damage caused by inaccurate information provided by the customer
9.2. The Cleaner is responsible for the cleaning service itself.
9.3. Evergleam Cleaning is not liable for loss or damage unless caused by our negligence.
9.4. We do not accept liability for items not securely stored.
9.5. We are not responsible for:
Wear and tear
Pre-existing damage
Poor condition of surfaces or materials
9.6. Maximum liability is limited to the total cost of the service.
10. Damage & Breakages
10.1. Cleaners must report any accidental damage immediately.
10.2. Customers must report damage to Evergleam Cleaning within 24 hours of the service.
10.3. Items of high value or sentimental value should be secured beforehand.
10.4. Claims submitted after 24 hours may not be accepted.
11. Independent Cleaner Status
11.1. Cleaners are self-employed contractors.
11.2. They are responsible for their own tax, insurance, and work quality.
11.3. Evergleam Cleaning acts only as the booking and payment platform.
12. Complaints
12.1. Complaints must be submitted to info@evergleamcleaning.com
within 24 hours of the service.
12.2. We aim to respond within 48 hours.
12.3. We may request photos or further details to review the case.
12.4. Cleaners may be removed from the platform for repeated issues.
13. Website Use
13.1. All content on our website is for general information only.
13.2. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the website.
13.3. We are not responsible for any loss caused by technical issues, viruses, or linked third-party websites.
14. Changes to These Terms
14.1. We may update these Terms at any time.
